Your Mission 

As an Accountant (m/f/d), you’ll be part of our Team in Malta. You’ll take over the local accounting and financial processes and help shape our Maltese office as it grows. From managing day-to-day accounts to collaborating with tax authorities – you’ll be the go-to person for everything numbers-related on-site. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage financial accounting in accordance with Maltese tax law and regulations 

• Prepare financial statements, tax filings, and reports for local authorities 

• Act as liaison with tax offices, accountants, and auditors in Malta 

• Collaborate with the German finance team on cross-entity topics (if needed) 

• Help structure and optimise accounting workflows as the office grows

Your Profile 

• Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or similar field 

• 3+ years of experience with accounting under Maltese law 

• Solid understanding of local tax systems, legal requirements, and financial reporting 

• Strong command of English (spoken and written) 

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail 

• Must be based in Malta or willing to relocate 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in working with local authorities and corporate service providers 

• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software 

• Basic knowledge of German (not required)
