#Healthy420: Work on the future of healthcare and help shape safe access to medicinal cannabis!

#RemoteWork: 100% - 4.20 instead of 9to5

Job description

About Us:

Dr. Ansay isn’t your average health startup. We broke Germany’s digital healthcare ground in 2018—and we’ve been moving fast ever since. Now, we’re building the most trusted platform for medical cannabis, empowering patients with secure, seamless digital care.

Behind every smooth experience is a team that puts quality first — from day one. We're a cross-functional crew of engineers, product people, and test specialists building reliable, scalable applications. And we’re looking for someone who loves automation as much as we do.

Your Mission:

As a QA Engineer focused on automation and end-to-end testing, you’ll be a key driver of quality throughout our product lifecycle. Your mission: catch issues before they reach users, reduce manual QA overhead, and help us release confidently — every time.

Here’s what success looks like in your role:

  • You build stable, scalable, and maintainable test automation suites

  • You proactively catch critical bugs before production

  • You reduce manual QA effort while increasing coverage and reliability

  • You enable faster, safer releases by integrating tests into our pipelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems

  • Design E2E tests simulating real user behavior across multiple systems

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI

  • Analyze test failures, find root causes, and collaborate with engineers for early bug resolution

  • Define and track quality metrics, test coverage, and stability benchmarks

  • Continuously improve test strategy for performance, scalability, and test reliability

  • Review test automation code and share QA best practices within the team

  • Advocate for quality-first thinking and support shift-left testing through coaching

Job requirements

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years experience in QA with a focus on test automation

  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium

  • Strong coding skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java

  • Hands-on experience with E2E testing in modern web or mobile app stacks

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins

  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured

  • Comfortable working in agile teams (e.g. Scrum or Kanban)

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or k6

  • Experience with accessibility testing and inclusive design principles

  • Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (e.g. Datadog, Sentry, etc.)

  • Exposure to containerized environments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) or cloud platforms (e.g. GCP)

  • Understanding of visual regression testing (e.g. Applitools, TestGrid)

What We Offer:

#Healthy420: Be part of the future of healthcare, enabling safe access to medical cannabis.
#AttractiveCompensation: Enjoy a top-notch salary.

#CreativeFreedom: Your ideas matter—bring them to life!

#TeamSpirit: Collaborate with passionate small teams that make a big impact.

#GrowthOpportunities: Dedicate time to personal development and continuous learning.
